Description

Interesting Early Collins & Co Machete measuring 26.75" overall with a blade length of 21.75". Green Horn Handle shows some loss and tight cracks. Blade shows a dark patina throughout, but in decent shape. The left side of the blade has Collins & Co. markings and I can see the "Hartford" markings as well along with some other scattered faded lettering. Interesting in that the markings are not straight, but at an angle and looks like going off the blade. Quite interesting. No scabbard. See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
