Weiss Mourning Brooch With Roman-like Face/cameo. Shipped with USPS First Class.
*very rare Weiss mourning brooch!
-it is definitely black coated metal of some sort- in excellent vintage condition
-the shiny portion of the cameo is cool to the touch and feels like glass/ maybe onyx
-same with the Roman face portion- doesn’t feel just like lucite
-also could be like the Victorian revivals made of the make lite celluloid, I’m not very familiar with these materials
-the face is more solid-smooth like Jet would be
-it has a nice solid heavy weight for how small the brooch is
-I don’t know a lot more about this item, as it was inherited from my grandmother and I’m not sure how long she had it as well
-I couldn’t find anything else online about it either- very interesting and mysterious piece!
