Vintage Volupte Rectangular Goldtone Minaudiere/Vanity Case Colored Crystal Lid

Description

Up for sale a vintage Volupte 1950's sunburst goldtone minaudiere with rectangular silvertone raised plaque embellished with clear, pink, green, yellow and blue rhinestones.  The minaudiere has in its own black fabric carrier with snap pocket on the reverse, so it could be used as an evening bag.  The interior is fitted with a mirror, a compartment behind the mirror, a powder compartment with Volupte marked powder puff and also marked Volupte USA on the lid of the powder puff compart.  There is also a pullout lipstick holder and a fabric envelope bag in a rectangular space that originally perhaps held a small comb.  No comb is present.  The vanity case/minaudiere measures 3” x 5.25” and the handle drop 4.5”, good condition with normal signs of age, wear and use with some wear to outer goldtone case, 1 stone missing from lid.  See photos.
