Victorian Seashell Mourning Pin with Childrens Brass Lockets - marcasite charm

Exceptional Victorian Mourning Pin - Rare with seashell - probably from loss of small children. The beautiful piece was obviously a special memorial for the person who had it made. The total pin is 3-1/2" long.
A 1-1/8" long seashell holds the pin frame and clasp. From that hangs two - 1-1/8" oval lockets with an initialed N and E heart hanging on top. Inside is coiled hair with couple beads. The middle brass dangle has top symbol, tiny heart and bottom piece decorated with marcasite and onyx.  Truly beautiful heartfelt piece.
In very good antique condition.
