    Description

    Listed is an interesting piece of jewelry that appears to be a Victorian mourning brooch.  The hearts give it a "Celtic" feel.  The mesh in the center may be for weaving hair from the deceased though I am not sure of that.  The back "C" clasp is in good condition.
    This appears to be painted metal.
    The pin is approximately 3" long and 2" high.
    This is a lovely piece, whatever its origin.
