    ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN VICTORIAN 1890'S
    BLACK ENAMEL MOURNING PIN!
I RECENTLY ACQUIRED A LARGE COLLECTION OF ANTIQUE AND VINTAGE FINE AND COSTUME JEWELRY, MANY UNIQUE PIECES. LISTED FOR AUCTION TODAY IS A CLASSIC EDWARDIAN VICTORIAN ERA PIN.
IT IS CLEARLY MARKED ON THE BACK "PAT. APL'D FOR", WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 3.3 GRAMS AND MEASURES ABOUT 2 1/2" LONG X 1/4" WIDE AT THE CENTER.
THERE IS AN RAISED OVAL CENTER EDGED WITH FINE VERTICAL LINES AND SWIRLS AT EACH END. BEYOND THIS AT EACH END ARE DEEPLY RIDGED LEAF DESIGNS. THE PIN AND BAR HAVE A UNIQUE ENCLOSED HINGE AND CLOSED C CLASP. IT HAS CERTAINLY BEEN WORN AND THERE IS SOME LOSS OF BLACK FINISH ON THE BACK AND PIN.
IT IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER AND AN ELEGANT PIN, THAT IS EASILY OVER 100 YEARS OLD!
PLEASE NOTE : OUR PRICES ARE FIRM. THEY ARE THE LOWEST WE CAN SELL IT FOR. WE DO NOT ACCEPT OFFERS
