The Survivors were a studio-only group formed by The Beach Boys'
Brian Wilson with friends Bob Norberg, Dave Nowlen, and Richard Alarian.
In August 1963, Brian Wilson wrote and produced The Survivors' only single,
"Pamela Jean", using the same melody from an earlier Beach Boys' song,
"Car Crazy Cutie". The B-side of "Pamela Jean" was the instrumental,
"After The Game", also written and produced by Brian Wilson.
The single "Pamela Jean"/"After The Game" was released by Capitol
Records on January 6, 1964, however, the single failed to chart.
