    Description

    Hello!
This is a Steeplechase Pocket Action Game, made by Pin-Bo Incorporated in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The game is mostly hard molded plastic, with a metal plunger and ball and a soft plastic (celluloid?) front. There is a promotional card that fits into the back. This measures about 2 1/8 x 2 5/8 x 5/8".
The October 25, 1947 issue of Billboard mentions that these were given away at that year's Coin Machine Industries show. By 1951 these were being marketed as Sport-O-Rama. Given that the instructions say Patent Pending, this may date to the earlier wave in the late 1940s.
