They have preserved Northwest Airlines memorabilia and display it in their museum for the public to view. The NWA HISTORY CENTER has many historical items as far back as Oct.1, 1926 when NORTHWEST AIRLINES was founded by Col. Louis H. Brittin.  The NWA HISTORY CENTER also has many items from the 13 airlines who combined to make Northwest. Northwest Airlines merged with Delta Airlines in 2008.  The History Center occasionally receives duplicate donated items and  items from other airlines.   These items come from airline collectors, estates, employees and retired employees, so HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN A PIECE OF AIRLINE HISTORY.
