    Description

KlorKleen VIRAL DISINFECTANT-CANISTER OF 150 (Net wt. 600 grams) HOSPITAL GRADE DISINFECTANT .   NaDCC is the active compound.   NaDCC is made in Ireland by Medentech and sold under different brand names (PurTabs, BruTabs, KlorSept)   This tub of 150 tablets will make up to 150 quarts of disinfectant depending on your desired ppm concentration.  I purchased this from a distributor outside the US due to the world-wide shortage of NaDCC, so the back label is in Hebrew, but will include US instructions for use.  The tubs are new, sealed, and the same NaDCC included in much more expensive products being listed on Ebay.
KlorKleen is one of the few products listed on the CDC website as effective against emerging viruses, as well as being active against a broad spectrum of bacteria (including MRSA), viruses (Norovirus, FLU) and fungus.  It is also pH neutral and surface friendly, unlike bleach.
Compatible with electrostatic spraying---use according to instructions.  Please follow the label.  The tablets expire on April, 2022.
I'm actually a chemist by training and a healthcare worker and there are some very specific reasons why I choose to use this as my primary disinfectant.  NaDCC provides free active chlorine (FAC) in the form of hypochlorous acid (HOCL), unlike bleach which provides free active chlorine in the form of hypochlorite.  The differences are huge: NaDCC in solution has a neutral pH; bleach is over 11.  That makes solutions of HOCl very surface friendly and non-caustic, unlike bleach.  Studies have also shown HOCl to have 4 x the disinfecting power compared to bleach, and stays stable in solution much longer than bleach.  So to summarize and to put an end to this chemistry geek-out session:
-NaDCC provides more potent, longer lasting disinfection power than BLEACH.
-Has long lasting available chlorine in reserve; the solution is good for several days
-Its tablet form is stable for years
-Safer for surfaces and skin with a neurtral pH. In solution it is OSHA GHS rated NON-Hazardous for Health.
-It smells clean (slight chlorine smell) vs. the smell of bleach or cleaners containing quats (think about how a lysol wipe smells)
    -And.....it is CHEAP
    So there you go.....
