    Description

    Grateful Dead Ticket : 1986 : " Dead at The Frost !!! " : Spring Tour ' 86 ! : May 11, 1986 ( 5/11/86 : 5/11/1986 ) - Stanford University - Frost Amphitheatre - Palo Alto, California ( CA ) : 1986 Grateful Dead Productions, Inc. / Grateful Dead Ticket Sales, Inc. ( GDP / GDTS ) : Full / ' Unused ' GDP / GDTS Mail Order Ticket !!!
Vintage Original ! Grateful Dead Ticket ! for the Huge !!! Spring Tour '86 stand at the Frost Amphitheatre !! on the Stanford University !!! ' Campus ! ' ... 5/11/1986 - " The Dead at The Frost !!!!! ".
Dead Fans !! ..... " The Dead at The Frost !!! "  - Stanford University ! on the West-Coast leg of Spring Tour '86 !!  Wow ... as yes-indeed Fans - this here is an unused & Beautiful ! Ticket to the May 11, 1986 ( 5/11/86 ) Dead Show at the Frost !!!  A Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) G.D.T.S. Mail Order Ticket ! - for 5/11/1986 !  A Famed ! '86 G.D. Show - known very-well to many Dead Fans as ... one of those Shows - where the Whole-Band was on Fire !!  And too ... being an FM Radio Broadcast - and all ( on KZSU - Palo Alto ) many the Boys were indeed showing-off just a bit !  Ha !  And, you know ... Hopefully-So !  Because really, the Show the night before at the Frost ( 5/10/86 ) sure was a tough one to top !  But ... they Rose ! to the occasion - making this May '86 Frost run a pretty-much Historic ! Mid-'80's G.D. 2-Show stand ! ... right at The Frost ! - Stanford U. !!   Just-Beautiful !!!  And, without really any-question ... this Show was indeed one of the Smokers ! from the Entire ! 1986 Touring Year !!!  And, if it wasn't for 7/4/86 Buffalo - some do say that these Frost Shows might just be the King !  Because the Band is just Rockin' !! & Rollin' !!! - with Capital " R's " on Both !!  Heck, in my Household - this Analog tape still ! makes nearly every ( or, at least every ' Important ' Road Trip ! ).  Yes, that's right ... as my ride is Always ! required to have a Hi-Fi Tape-Deck !  And, I don't really care what decade it is ... Ha !  I've probably owned 4 to 5 copies of each of these '86 Frost Shows over the last 3-Decades ... moving up to the Penthouse finally ! with the Cassette Masters !! ... of Both Shows !!!  '80's G.D. Heaven !  I mean ... one of these Shows Should ! be one of the next Dave's Picks !!! ( hint, hint ! )  No, but seriously ( I'll still try, at least !?! ).  And, what's pretty interesting too ... is that this '86 Frost run pretty much marks the Band's 7-Year ' Relationship ' with the one & only Frost Amphitheatre !  Arguably, one-of ... if not " The " Outdoor Venues in all ! of Mid-'80's Grateful Deadheadland !  For sound ?  I think the Greek does indeed win ... but, for ' Aesthetic-Beauty ? ' ... maybe The Frost !?  Plus, I've also heard some great stories on Dead Tour in California - about Students going into the grassy Frost grounds the ' night-before ' style ... and ' burying ' kegs of Beer ?  You know ... so nothing but the tap itself could be uncovered ( & opened-up ! ) the next day ?!? - during the Show !  Folk tales, folk tales ... but yep - this one is true !  How clever, right ?!  Classic ...  I mean this is the Venue where Captain-Deadhead Bill Walton ( one of my own personal Idols ! ) took like his entire Law School Class to the Show ?! ... to see the Band play !!!  '82, or '83 I'm thinking - maybe ??  Classic-story ... no doubt.  But, the Band did only play the Frost 14-times - all the way up until May of 1989 - and then, Stanford U. sadly had to call it quits with the G.D. - as did, the Greek !  But ... if you had to pick the " Hottest " Frost Show ??  My oh my ... as it just might be 5/11/86 !  Or, maybe one from '82 of '83 ? ... or definitely, the '89 run - with 5/6/89 likely breaking the tape ! - of that finish-line.  But, to me ... I make it a point ! to not let too-much time go by - without throwing 5/11/86 right in the Nak ! ... where it rightfully belongs.  I mean this Show is so Killer ! that it Needs !! to be listed-to on Analog !  Tell me about it, right ?  I mean that's the Ballpark that I like to play in ... Right-On !!  So yes indeed ... as here is the Ticket !  And, if you Collect the Best of the Best in G.D. - and/or Rock & Roll ... well, here you go !  And, if you were sitting on that plush Grass ! - way-back in '86, well hey ... then here you go too !  Gimmie Some Lovin' > Dancin' In The Street ! - Iko Iko ! - Samson ! - He's Gone > Smokestack > Drums / Space > Other One !! - NFA ! - with a 2-Song Miracle > U.S. Blues Encore !!  As I sure hope Big Bill ! had the Red, White & Blue " Uncle Sam " Outfit & Hat ! back then ... over 30-Years Ago ... at " The Frost !!! ".  Huge !! - Mid-'80's Grateful Dead !!! ... Enjoy !!!!!
