Vintage Original Grateful Dead Ticket ! for the Red-Hot ! 1987 Chinese New Year Show ... The " Year Of The Hare !!! " - at the San Francisco Civic Auditorium !!!  With an Awesome ! Lightning-Bolt ' Rabbit '  ( Hare ! ) Design !!!!!
Dead Fans !!!  What's that old saying after all ... " There ain't Nothin' ! like a Chinese New Year - with the Grateful Dead !! ".  That's what I say ... and that goes for Mardi Gras ! Shows too.  Special event treats ... from the Band & for the Fans - the likes of Orchestras - Stage Dancers - and of course too ... Parades !!!  This is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) G.D.T.S. ' Mail Order ' Ticket for the January 28, 1987 ( 1/28/1987 ) Chinese New Year Show - at the San Francisco Civic Auditorium ... in S.F., CA !!!  And, as Chinese New Year Shows & Mardi Gras Shows were generally in Oakland - and, especially  'after ' this '87 run - this one was actually held in S.F. proper !  As in 1987, the Band decided it would be a good idea to place this Festive Party - right inside The City !  And, with there always being an appropriate ' Theme ' too - for the individual Chinese New Year Calendar ' Year ' - well, this '87 turn of the page in History ! ... just happened to be done by the Rabbit !!! - or, as I should more properly say... by the Hare !!!  So, as you can see - the G.D. ' glitter ' logo & emblem on this Ticket proudly & very-coolly ! sports ... yep, you guessed it - a Hare !!!  And, this isn't just any Ol' Hare - as this guy or gal here is actually accompanied by a Lightning Bolt !  Which, is so-appropriate in it's own self ... as these furry little critters are indeed Lightning-Quick !  Heck, I used to have a Rabbit as a Pet - when I was a kid, and ... when he got out of his cage & on to the ' carpet ' - Whoa !?! ... I mean look-out as you definitely had your work cut out for you on the capture !  Classic ...  Well, this here Show was indeed the ' actual ' Chinese New Year night - as there was a 3-Show run on 1/28/87 - 1/29/87 - and 1/30/87 ... with this 1/28 Show indeed being the ' Opener ' of this run !  And Musically ! - this one kicked off with a Huge ! Shakedown Street !!! inside a Hot ! 10-Song 1st Set !! ... and then, right-after that ... one of the Highlights ! of this entire '87 S.F. run, and really too - one of the all-time '80's G.D. Highlights !  Well, at least definitely from an ' Entertainment ' standpoint ! ... The Beatles " Get Back " !!! - delivered by ( you guessed it ... ) Bobby Weir !! ... " Come on Loretta ! - and take off that High-School Sweater !! "  Hah !!!  Stuff of '80's G.D. Legend ! on this Red-Hot little '87 S.F. stand !  I mean this was a sheer Classic ! - a little bit off & out of timing / tune, and yet still completely-drenched with '80's G.D. Awesomeness !!!  And too, I'd have to check & look into it to be certain ... but, I'm pretty certain that this run was actually the Last & Final ! time that the Grateful Dead ever played the S.F. Civic Aud. ? - as, it was pretty much always East Bay - in Oakland ! style in the moving forward - which, is always way-cool too - for the super-Fun Chinese New Year & Mardi Gras run type stuff.  Hey Now ! ... well " What's Up Doc ? " says this G.D. Lightning-Bolt Rabbit ! ... oops, I mean " Hare !!! ".  And also too - look out Loretta !  Hah !! ... Enjoy !!!!!

This Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead ( GDP / GDTS ) Unused Mail Order Ticket for the 1987 Chinese New Year Show - " Year of the Hare ! " at the San Francisco Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California ( CA ) is in overall Very Good condition (please see photos!).  Ticket perforation areas are in in tact, and firm.  There is some light spot/staining on the front of the Ticket (located by the middle/bottom edge border, mostly on/near the printed " 8:00 PM ") - please see photos), in addition to some very-light corner/edge wear.  Please see all close-up photos provided for the actual item condition.  Photos included are of the actual item you will receive.  A Vital !
