Vintage Original Grateful Dead Ticket ! for the 1991 Spring Tour ! - Late-Spring West Coast run !!  ... Featuring the Glittery & Awesome ! " Eye Of Horus !!! " G.D. Art Logo !!!!
G.D. Fans !!!  There was Nothing left to do but Smile, Smile, Smile !!! when you would open-up that G.D.T.S. Mail Order Ticket envelope - finding out not only that your ticket order was ' Filled ' ! ... but, all the cooler too - when the Show that you were about to Tour ... featured the ' Eye of Horus ! ' G.D. Logo !!!  One of my own personal favorites - from back in the day ... for certain.  And, just to think that this May '91 Expo run actually happened well-over 25-Years Ago ! now here today ... Wow !!? - as Time does Fly !!  This is a Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) G.D.T.S. ' Mail Order ' Ticket for the May 4, 1991 ( 5/4/1991 ) " Rex Foundation Benefit " Show at the Cal Expo Amphitheatre - in Sacramento, California ( CA ) !!  This is a still ! Brand-New unused / untorn, etc. Ticket for the 2nd Show ! of the May '91 3-Show run at Expo !! - for " Rex " !!!  Expo got a ton ! of Rex Benefit Shows ... and the Dead Fans got a lot of Expo !! - from Summer '84 ! - all the way to the end ... with the last stand going down on the '94 Summer Tour !  Nothing like seeing a brightly-colored " Waterslide ! " right behind the stage ... and, in the case of 1991 - I would have to estimate that Cal Expo was pretty much the most intimate ! Venue left - that the Band was still able to play !  With, maybe say ... Pine Knob & Deer Creek also being in the conversation - and, maybe more too ... but, you know - just off the top of my Dead-Head !  This Show was special, not only in the fact that the Race Is On ! got delivered - but, it also marked the West Coast 2nd time ! around ' Return ' of the New Speedway Boogie !  Garcia choose to kick it down at the end of the 1st Set ( following Masterpiece ) - and, the Boys not only Smoked ! it nicely, but ... they also played it into a Music Never Stopped set closer !!  And too, there was no Bruce Hornsby at this entire Expo run, so - at least in my mind ... it ' dirtied-up ' this Speedway a bit, and ... only in a Grate ! way !!  In other words ... more Garcia ! volume !! & tone !!!  The Playin' > Uncle John's was also Exceptional ! - and, deep in the back set ... Standing On the Moon kicked it stop & go style - just as you might expect ... the One More Saturday Night !  Touch of Grey ! as the Encore, and then ... one more night to go at Expo !  Well, you know ... until the Shoreline Tour closing run, that is.  Ha !  1991 ! - with the Band playing Strong !! - and, in this case too -- for Rex !!! ... Enjoy !!!!!
