    A Vintage-Original Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ! made for a Fort Worth, TX Show ! at the William Rogers Memorial Auditorium ! on '81 Summer Tour ! ... a Dead Show ! that ' Never-Happened ' !!!
    Grateful Dead Fans !! ... and quite possibly-too - Dead Fans ! from the Big-State ! - Texas !!!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the " Scheduled & Cancelled " July 1st, 1981 ( 7/1/81 ) Show at the William Rogers Memorial Auditorium in Fort Worth, Texas ( TX ) - on the '81 Summer Tour !!  A Grateful Dead Show in Texas ! - which was scheduled - booked - and even a Backstage Pass was made ... but the Show Never ! went off !!  Making this Grateful Dead Pass quite-obviously Very-Rare !! - a Pass for a Dead Show - which " Never-Happened ! " ... even-though Passes were printed !  And, the good news is ... that the Grateful Dead still did indeed play Texas ! on this Tour - on 7/2/1981 at The Summit in Houston, Texas - and also on 7/4/1981 at Manor Downs in Austin, Texas ... but, this 7/1/1981 Fort Worth Show never went off.  Which from a Grateful Dead-meets-Texas " Historic Standpoint " means that the Grateful Dead only ever did play Forth Worth twice !  Once at Panther Hall on 2/20/1970 - and one-more time at Texas Christian University ( TCU ) on 11/14/1971 - a Show that has had some segments eternally enshrined of the " Grateful Dead Road Trips Vol. 3 No. 2 Bonus Disc CD !  China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider - Sugaree - Truckin' > Drums > Other One > Me & My Uncle > Other One > Wharf Rat > Sugar Magnolia !  Which, may I add ... is way-worth a listen.  The Good Ol' Grateful Dead Delivering ! in Fort Worth - on the '71 Fall Tour.  And, it almost did happen once again on 7/1/1981 - but no-dice ... just like the Good Ol' saying goes - close, but no cigar.  Nonetheless, a way-cool & highly-collectible Grateful Dead item - as things like this usually never " get out " alive - versus permanently destroyed - but, as you can see here ... this one did !  And, in Sweet ! condition too !!  So, here's to a True ! Grateful Dead near 40-Year Old " Rarity " !!! - just for You !! ... Enjoy !!!!!
