Grateful Dead Fans !! who Love to Dance !!! - and dig Red-Hot Dead ! at the Philly Spectrum too !!! As offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) 1980's Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin )
for the Spring Tour '87 stop at The Spectrum in Philadelphia, PA ! Wow, what a pass design here Dead Fans ... as " Arrriba !! " I say. I mean check this one out - as it's a total & complete Dancing-Skeletons Mexican Hat Dance " Day Of The Dead ! " Dancin' Skeletons scene !! Quite-perfect for any Cinco De Mayo event - Road Trip in the Micro-Bus while crossing the border into Tijuana - or maybe ... The Grateful Dead at the Spectrum !!! This design is just Killer ! I mean check out the Artistic " Stripes " in the background - as they almost look like my favorite Mexican Blanket which I own ( have owned forever ) & surely treasure !! A lot of thought went into this fine design, no doubt - and the image is bright, vivid & eye-catching, with great - or should I say Grate ! attention to detail. I mean where's the Tequila !?!! I'll never understand why the Grateful Dead didn't ever pull off a Mexico Show - if they would've ... I'd have found a way to make it down there - no doubt. You know, I'm not sure we can come even close to calling this one the " Mexicali Blues " - as there's far too much Fun ! & Joy !! going on here in this scene ... well wait, then again - maybe a scene from the ' Beginning ' of the Song ? Ha ! To my eyes ... this Pass is definitely a very-special one ... and maybe the Dead thought so too - as the Spectrum !! got the Shakedown !!! Show-Opener on this Red-Hot ! G.D. Philly-Night !! A juicy Good Times Blues delivered by Brent ... and a Spunky ! Iko Iko !!! And maybe my personal favorite >>> Drums > Space > Truckin' > Other One !!! Phil wanted it real-badly on this one - or so it seemed to my ears - totally worth a listen ... as is this whole 3/30/87 G.D. Show ! Both nights were note-worthy, while in fact - the 2nd night ( 3/31/87 ) was actually broadcast on FM radio - hence this night was a bit more well-circulated back in the Good 'Ol Tape-Trading Days !! You know, when it was mandatory !!?! Now I just have my Friends & Family to laugh at me when I buy brand new Naks ! But hey, you know what they say ... " He Who Dies With The Most Dead Tapes Wins !!! ". Ha !! A Totally-Sweet ! G.D. Pass here my fellow Fans !! - for certain ... Enjoy !!!!!
