An Amazing ! Marvel Comics ! meets Grateful Dead ! Backstage Pass !! - for the 9/17/95 ' Scheduled ' ( & Cancelled ! ) Show at the Boston Garden !! ... a G.D. Show ! & Tour !! ... which never-happened !!!
Grateful Dead Fans ! & most-definitely Marvel Comics Fans !! ... the Metal Super villain himself - Doctor Sun !!!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for a ' scheduled ' Grateful Dead Show at the Boston Garden on September 17, 1995 ( 9/17/95 ).  And, as it turned out ... this Show - and this Entire '95 Fall Tour never happened, due to the untimely passing of Jerry Garcia.  In fact, tickets for this run of Boston Garden Shows went on sale ... and, this was quite the tough ticket - in the celebration that was to be ... as these would have been the Last / Final Grateful Dead Shows in the Boston Garden, before its permanent retirement.  So ... some of the tickets that were sold for this run, well ... in Samson & Delilah song fashion = they actually had printed on them ... " We're Gonna Tear This Old Building Down " !!!  So, as the '95 Fall Tour was ' scheduled ' to be the Last/Final Boston Garden Shows ... it ultimately ended up being the '94 Fall Tour Shows, which were the last.  And this Doctor Sun Backstage Pass here ?  Well, all the rarer for certain ... as this is one that was made for a Grateful Dead Show - which never happened !!  And, being a Pass where the Grateful Dead & Doctor Sun meet ??  All the cooler for the Fan or Collector !  There were some different ' Marvel ' and other G.D. design Passes made for this '95 Fall Tour ... but wow - here today... they are Way-Tough ! to come by, for certain.  And, as there is obviously no ' Set list ' for this scheduled G.D. Show ... well, so let's talk about Doctor Sun !!!  If naturally, you are not already a Marvel Fan, Comics, or Doctor Sun Fan !  The story on this Powerful Super Villain is actually quite a bit more gruesome that it initially seems ... or, at least from the looks of him !  As this Robotic Cyborg - actually was fed on Human Blood !!?!  And, after 1st appearing in 1974 ... on & off all through the 1970's & 1980's - he is probably most famous for his Battles with the Fantastic Four !  You know ... Superhero(es) vs. Super Villain !  Before Doctor Sun was Doctor Sun ... he was actually a Scientist in China who invented a way for a Human Brain to be removed from a Human's Skull ! ... where it could then be completely sufficient on its own in a life support system chamber !?!  And ... then things went bad for Doctor Sun, as a political enemy actually managed to have him sentenced to death !? -- and, then this ! ' Villain ' made the decision to have Doctor Sun's very-own " Brain-Removal / Transfer " system used on Him !?!?!?  Oh Noooooo !  But true, indeed - well, you know ... at least in Marvel-land !  Ha !!  So then, as it turned out - once Doctor Sun's Brain was in the ' metal-chassis ' ... it was dependent on Human-Blood ! for survival ... almost like Gasoline or Oil, to a Car ?!?  And ... well, Doctor Sun needed Blood to survive !!  Just take one look at this Marvel Pass ... at Doctor Sun's Head - and you will see that it is actually a ' Brain ' -- right inside a Clear Glass & Metal Chassis !!!  Whoa !  Now my goodness Dead Fans ... is this one ' Grateful Dead ' or what ??!  Plus, I mean just check out that Late-'70's / Early'80's style Font ! ... as it looks like font straight out of an Atari Game !!  Totally, and without any question ... this is one of the Coolest ! Grateful Dead-meets-Marvel Passes !!  How Cool !  Doctor Sun !!!!!!!  Enjoy, and by all means ... keep Your-blood ! away from Him !  Ha !!  A Totally-Classic ! piece of G.D. Rock History !!! ...  Enjoy !!!!!
