ateful Dead Fans !!! ... Midwest Deadheads !! - and quite likely too ... all of those die-hard & loyal ! Kansas City Royals Fans out there !  Because as we know well know - Sports Fans & Dead Fans sometimes often ! think alike !!  So ... if you're a Fan of the Rare ! - not only in Rock & Roll / Backstage Passes ... but - are also a Fan of Rare ! G.D. Tour Stops and/or Venues ... well, here indeed is one for certain !  And, obviously ... I'm hoping that either You ! - or, at least your Folks were there !! - right inside the Kansas City Municipal Auditorium ! ... on 7/7/81 - on the Grateful Dead '81 Summer Tour !  Offered here indeed is the Vintage-Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for this July 7th, 1981 ( 7/7/81 ) Show at the K.C. Municipal Auditorium ... a Venue that the Grateful Dead only played Twice !!  Once here in '81 -and only once-prior the year-prior in '80 !  And, as I'm probably ' restating the obvious ' here - the Art Design on this Very-Rare ! over 35 Year-Old G.D. Pass ! features the Quintessential ! 1980's G.D. " Dead Set " Art based design - delivered so-awesomely by Dennis Larkins & Peter Barsotti in 1980 - used in one form or another on Posters, etc. for the Dead Set Cover - Warfield Poster - Radio City Music Hall Poster - Handbills - Tour Shirts - you name it.  Uncle Sam relaxing with his thoughts - looking on the Golden Gate Bridge ! - with Ms. Uncle Sam doing just the same thing - but her view ... New York City ! and the Hudson !!  A Quintessential ! G.D. Pass here for certain - to say the very-least.  And Musically ! - this '81 Summer Tour stop ?  Whoa !!!?  Now This ! Fans is a G.D. Show that took some serious ! tracking down - way back in the day ... and really only " Audience " tapes could ever be found - well in fact - I only have a Soundboard of 1 of these 2 sets - even here today ?!?  But, you know ... on analog cassette ! Naturally, though ... keep the Nak fed !! - and, in the case of 7/5/81 K.C. ... Fed-Well !!!  A Nice & Tasty Candyman !!! - that just hits the Subliminal ! in Awesomeness ... with an MXR Phase 100 Garcia Delivery !!! - that might just be one for the ages ?  Or ... at least for the '80's !  Plus, this Show also delivered the ( sort-of ) return of Dancin' in the Streets !  And ... it was delivered in the 3-spot of Set one ... following a Minglewood > Bertha ! >>> Dancin' !!!  And yep.  The Band just rips ! it ... with some Gorgeous ! '80's speedy-groove ... Ha !  And, the Lightning > Supplication ! in this Set is truly one of the reasons that this Show is a must-hear ... '81 Summer Tour ! - and they are Driving !! it.  Wow ...  Plus too, after a noteworthy Bird Song - and following Looks Like Rain ... Garcia just takes ' no-mercy ' on a Deal !!!  And, the funny thing really is ... that Candyman is in Set II !!!  See what I mean ?  Killer ...  The Estimated > Eyes in II is nice & deep ... and there is a real big Miracle > Good Lovin' !! to drive this baby home.  Don't Ease as the Encore ! ... and then off to play the Legendary 7/8/81 Keil Auditorium Show next !  But ... no joking here - as this 7/5/81 Show is one that has unfortunately always ?! been in obscurity ... and seriously - it shouldn't be !!  Get it, and you'll keep it ... but, then again - hopefully you were in-there ! with your Kansas City Royals Foam Front & Mesh Back Cap on !!!  Hah !  Excellent !! ... Enjoy this K.C. ! Rock & Roll !! Grateful Dead Treasure !!! - from 1981 !!  Awesome . . . Enjoy !!!!!
