Fans !!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the May 2, 1980 ( 5/2/80 ) Show at the Hampton Coliseum ! in Hampton, Virginia ( VA ) !!  Or, as some like to call it ... the " Space-Station ! " - or wait, being 1980 ?  That was " Empire Strikes Back ! " time ... so, we could also call it the " Death Sta !!! ".  Ha !  Classic ...  Or, we could also just call it one of those ' Venues ' that the Dead Always-Smoked !!!  Big-Time !  And ... the Art-Design ! on this Pass ... the Fine-Work of  ' The Mouse ! ' - the " Grate ! " Stanley Mouse !! - that is.  As you certainly recognize this Art Design from the 1980 Studio Album ! by The Grateful Dead !! ... " Go To Heaven !!! " - a tried & true G.D. Masterpiece !  This Pass design was used throughout the Touring Year of 1980 by Grateful Dead Productions - and there were different colors on each Pass for the " Mouse " Art Design !  Go To Heaven !!!  And this particular Hampton Pass ! - with the Dark / White contrast ... Very !! Very-Cool ... just check out the photos !  Touring Down-South always treated me nicely - as we always Enjoyed ! that Southern-Hospitality ... in Virginia - Carolina - Georgia - I mean you name it !  And on this 5/2/80 night ?  The Grateful Dead treated Virginia quite-well too ... at the Hampton Coliseum !  Wow, it just even feels good to even ' type ' it these days ... as it even feels Awesome !  A Set list heavy in Go To Heaven like goods ... as it rightfully should be !  The '80's !!!!!  I love'em.  Cool enough on this G.D. '80 night - the Band ' opened ' the Show with Minglewood !  Yeah Bobby !!  Then, a rich & stout Loser ! by Garcia !!  Then, probably the very-coolest part of this 1st Set was an Althea > Music Never Stopped !!  Hot ...  Then, Set II gets down to the nitty & gritty !  And, it flows backwards - from the '80's to the '70's !  Pretty cool ...  In the front-set - a Kickin' !! Alabama > Stranger !!! - into - Eyes !!!  And then on the back set - here come the '70's - for certain ! >>> Not Fade Away ( out of Space ! ) > Stella Blue > Miracle > Bertha > Good Lovin' !!!  With, both NFA & Good Lovin just Smokin' !!!!!  Encore : Johnny B. Goode !  Wow, Hampton always got treated so well ... " The Dead !! In The Death Star !!! " - I say !  I'm a Big-Fan ! myself of this May '80 East Coast run here - as night after night ... the Music ! does all the talking - as the Band gets clearly in a that ... Zone !!! on the majority of this Fine '80 Tour !!  So, now - You ! have -- the Hampton !! 1980 G.D. Pass !!! ... Enjoy !!!!!
