Dead Fans !! ... just think-back on This-One ! - Summer Tour '91 !!!  This is the Vintage-Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the '91 Summer Tour stop at the Deer Creek Amphitheatre ! on June 6, 1991 ( 6/6/91 ) in Noblesville, Indiana ( IN ) !!  As this was indeed some Big-Time Grateful Dead ! - and many / most Fans were able to catch a piece of this Excellent Tour !  Most of it was ' Stadiums ' - naturally ... as the Good Ol' Grateful Dead were getting Real-Hot ! Again !!  Well, they are always pretty Hot - so, let's just say ' Quite-Popular ' too - and even more so ... quite popular to the Masses !  As Yes ! a " Top 10 Hit ! " can do that - as in ... ' Touch of Grey ' in 1987 ! - but here it was '91 they were still ! packing & pleasing the Big-Houses !  The Giants Stadiums - Soldier Fields - and RFK's of the World ... but, not in Indiana - as they had still managed to still be " Welcomed " by Deer Creek !!  And, if you were a Touring Dead Fan in the Mid-West and/or East during this time ... well, then that was just like Heaven-Sent !  The Creek is definitely nice - and plush too ... and strangely - the Dead were still able to play there all the way until the end ... on Summer Tour '95 !  Though, I'm fairly assuming that would likely have been the last time - considering the ' situations ' there that we won't go into here.  But ... Deer Creek was Plush !! - Nice Grass ! ... and even in the parking lot too ( no joke ! ) - and it had pretty nice sound as well - for an Outdoor " Amphitheatre " style Venue of it's size & capacity.  I really liked it myself - and saw some G.D. Magic ! in-action there too - as it seemed the Band always liked to Deliver ! at " The Creek " !!  I remember one Dead Fan years ago referring to it as the " Shoreline of the Mid-West ! ".  Sure, I can buy that ... as I like many - just Loved ! my Shoreline Shows - always.  So, as far as Summer '91 rolled - I was lucky enough to catch 7-dates myself ... and this here 6/6/91 Deer Creek Show was actually the '91 Summer Tour opener !!!  Pretty rad ...  So, here's how the route went - just to jog your memory for fun !  As, I'm betting you might have been involved in this Summertime G.D. Fun-time too ! ... Deer Creek > Buckeye Lake ( Ohio ) > Charlotte, NC > RFK - D.C. > Giants Stadium NJ / NY > Pine Knob - Michigan > Soldier Field - Chicago > Sandstone - Bonner Springs, KS > Mile High - Denver, CO >>> then, back Out-West ! to Cal Expo ! & Shoreline !!  These " Dead at the Creek ! " Shows were Hot !!  Though many widely consider the 6/17/91 Giants Show and/or the 6/14/91 RFK Show to be the Live-Peak ! of this '91 Summer Tour ... the thing that I always liked about these '91 Deer Creek dates is that you got the China > Rider !!! on this 1st Night - and then you were immediately delivered the Scarlet > Fire !!! on Night 2 ... 6/7/91 !  So, for the Locals & Regional Dead Fans ... that is So-Awesome ! - and about all you can ask for, really.  I mean you are all pumped-up to go & see the Grateful Dead ! - you've got your Sunglasses - Cooler & Early-'90's Bandana ! all-ready ... more than all-ready !!  And then ... you see just these Two Shows - and you walk away with Both !! a China > Rider !! & Scarlet > Fire !!  How Incredibly-Awesome ...  The right-place, at the right-time - right ?  Noblesville, Indiana !!!  Heck, me & my Tour Buddy even paid to sleep in a Noblesville, Indiana Junkyard !?! one time ... as all of the local Campsites & Hotels were Sold Out !?!  But hey, you've gotta do what you've gotta do - on G.D. Summer Tour ! ... right ?  Right-on ...  There were also a few ' other ' fine musical goodies tucked in this run too ... Big Railroad Blues ! - Estimated > Uncle John's - and a Hot ! Lovelight on 6/6/91 ... and on 6/7/91 the Loser ! came out big - and there was a Music > Don't Ease to close Set I !  And, as for Set II ... it delivered the Truckin' > Speedway !!!  In addition to a Sugar Mag show closer !  Just another Hot !! G.D. run at the Beautiful ! Deer Creek Amphitheatre ... in Indiana !  You bet John Cougar was probably in there too - I like it !  " Now Ain't That ! America ... ".  Ha !!  Grateful Dead Summer Tour '91 !! in Indiana !!! - at " The Creek !!!! " ... Enjoy !!!!!
