Grateful Dead Fans !! ... Chinese New Year Fans ! -- and of course too ... Fans of Rabbits !!! -- The 1987 " Year Of The Hare ! " Grateful Dead Backstage Pass! !!  Wow ... how Incredibly-Awesome !  This is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass specifically-designed for the 1987 Chinese New Year Show ... Celebrating the '87 " Year Of The Hare ! " - with the Grateful Dead - in San Francisco, CA ... at the San Francisco Civic Auditorium -- on January 29, 1987 ( 1/29/1987 ) !!!  A Simply-Amazing ! & ' Quintessential ' Grateful Dead Backstage Pass !  I'm quite-fond of this G.D. Pass design myself, as my 1st Pet as a kid was indeed a Bunny-Rabbit !  And, " Little Hopper " was her name !  So ... I don't know though, as Little Hopper was a small " Dutch-Bunny ", I think ?  And ... these two here are looking quite different then Hopper did ... so, I'm thinking these are indeed ' Hares ' here, but - let's put it this way ... these two just look-like ! the kind that can Move ! ... Lightning-Quick !!!  This is indeed such a ' Special ' Grateful Dead Backstage Pass, in that is was designed-specifically for the '87 Chinese New Year Celebration !!! ... which yes ! - as you guessed it ... was indeed the " Year of the Hare " !!!  This here G.D. Pass design is no-joke - Wow !! - and is indeed one of those that is sure worthy of a frame !  This design image is just Incredibly-Awesome ! ... with the Black ( Red ) / White negative-thing going on and all ... and, with ' Red ' being the main contrast color ... this design looks Stellar !!!  So, point being ... all of you " Wabbbit ! " Dead Fans out there Must ! have this one - and, especially if you were fortunate enough to catch this '87 S.F. Civic Chinese New Year run of Shows !!!  And too, this is also one of those Passes that is so-rare & also unique in its " Visual-Effect " - that it is also a ' Must ' for any serious Collector in the best of the Best! in Vintage-G.D. items ... of significance ! & importance !!  In fact too, you might actually ' recognize ' this Pass-design, as it was actually re-issued for a Deer Creek Show in the 1990's ! -- 6/22/1993 at the Deer Creek Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana !  But ... this one hare - oooops, I mean ' here ' ( Ha ! ) is indeed the Creative " Original ! " which was so-cleverly issued for-this " Year Of The Hare ! " San Francisco Show - during the 3-Show run !  This 1/29/87 Show was even ' The ' Night of the Chinese New Year " Year Of The Hare ! " Celebration ... with 1/28/87 & 1/30/87 being the book-ends.  In fact, the 1/28/87 Show even featured a little " Get Back " - Beatles-style ! ... and naturally -- delivered Live by Bobby Weir !!  You need to hear this one, if you have yet to ... trust-me!  Hah !!!  What a Classic ...  This 1/29/87 Show kicked-off with a Bucket > Sugaree !  And, if you asked me ... I'd have to settle on the Scarlet > Fire !!! from this night - definitely being the Highlight !  If of course, I could only pick one-piece ! of this " Chinese New Year " G.D. Action.  There is Nothing ! quite-like a Chinese New Year G.D. Show ... and one year I was even Lucky ! enough to see one right-on my Birthday !!  Wow, as I must say ... That ! " Dragon-Parade !!! " was something-else my fellow Dead Fans !  Chinese New Year Shows ! - and Mardi Gras Shows ! - Always-Rocked !!! ... a little more low-key, always on the West Coast in Cali ... and there always seemed to be a little ' Extra-Special ' G.D. Magic ! in the Air !!  So yeah, in '87 ... the Bunnies !! were indeed in the House ! - as it was indeed Their Show ! ... " The Year Of The Hare !!! " - and of course too, naturally ... it was their Big Day !!  Excellent ...  Enjoy !!!!!
