Good Ol' ! Grateful Dead Fans !! ... '83 Summer Tour ! - at Poplar Creek !!!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the June 28, 1983 ( 6/28/83 ) Show
at Poplar Creek in Chicago, Illinois ( IL ) !!  This 6/28/83 Show was the 8th Date of the 1983 Summer Tour ' Back East ' swing - which also included 3 Tour-Stops in the Midwest - with this being the Last !  This night at Poplar Creek was actually the ' Tour Closer ' for the Eastern run - as the next G.D. dates didn't occur until late-August in Ventura, CA ( 7/30,31/83 ).  This '83 Summer Tour leg kicked off in Saratoga, NY ( at SPAC ! ) on 6/18/83 - then headed south to the MD ! at Merriweather Post Pavilion ! on 6/20,21/83 - with arguably the Greatest ! Show on this '83 Tour occurring on 6/20/83.  Then, on to City Island ! in Harrisburg, PA - then to Madison, WI at the Dane County Coliseum - on to St. Paul, MN at the Civic ... then, this double-header - a 2-Night Stand in Chicago, Illinois !  At none other than the Poplar Creek Music Theatre - technically in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.  These two Shows were the Only ! time that the Grateful Dead graced this Venue !  I'm sure right now you can picture all of the Bears Fans ! - along with all of those Foam-Front / Mesh-Back Ball Caps !!  Hey, wait a minute ... were You ! one of them !?!  Ha !  Just kidding - though this-guy does really like Da' Bears ! - and his Foam-Front / Mesh-Backs !!  Bring'em back ... I say !  And, as for this G.D. Pass design ... Yeah !!!  You really can't beat this one - not at all ... " Good O' Grateful Dead " -  like we like it ... Summer Tour 1983 ! - on the Top - and June 28 - Poplar Creek - Chicago, Illinois - Red, White & Blue Everywhere !  Red Stars around the Ring ! ... Awesome.  And also, you even have the Authentic Tour-Marking ! made by GDP on this Pass ... the Black-Marker # 8 !!!  The prehistoric - yet still Beautiful ! classic-method of Tour Credentials ' Authentication ' ... with a Plain Ol' Black Marker !!  Gotta Love the Old-School !!!  Remember those ' felt-tips ' with the black / white plastic caps !  Enjoy this Awesome G.D.
