This quilt is the perfect gift for any grandparent.  The backing cotton fabric is all about them.  Newspaper fabric with cute photos, articles and sayings.  The other side of this quilt is a scrappy quilt, made up of 2 1/2" squares with a blue speckled white background cotton fabric.  The binding is a multi-colored stripped fabric, that is hand sewn on to the backing.
Machine quilted with white quilting thread, using a simple stipple motif.  Batting used is Fairfield Bleach.
Size:  64" x 67", the perfect size for a lap quilt, day bed, couch quilt, or an extra throw blanket.
Machine wash in cold water, gentle wash cycle, tumble dry on low or line dry.  Iron as needed.
