9k Rose Gold Overlay Pearl Etruscan MOURNING BROOCH / Pendant EDWARDIAN Antique.
Looks to be Rolled gold or gold overlay. I believe it’s a rose gold tone.
Pearl is a black / Peacock Tahitian seed pearl
33.4mm x 25.4mm
9.3mm thick, may be thick due to hair or ash inside. I have not opened this piece.
Has both a pin/ brooch clasp and a hook loop to wear as a pendant if desired.
Very pretty authentic piece of history.
Sold as shown. Good antique condition with expected wear, tarnish, fading and surface scratches from age and use.
Turns Brown when Tested with 14k gold acid so that tells me it’s either 9k-12k and is most likely plated, rolled gold or gold overlay.
